Today I am cooking 2 very interesting grains. Black rice and black barley.
These two grains have similar cooking times (40 minutes with 2:1 of water) so you can cook together and mix them up with your favourite veggies and protein. They are both very nutritious, however if you suffer from celiac disease or are gluten sensitive, black barley is not for you.
