HOW DO YOU KEEP YOURSELF ON TRACK AND MOTIVATED?

I maintain motivation and consistency for working out by SETTING GOALS for myself!! 💡

WHAT DO I MEAN BY THAT? Say for example you are finally able to squat 135lb for a solid 10 reps. Set a goal for yourself to hit 185lb over the course of the next month. If you set this goal for yourself, you’re more likely to WANT to go to the gym to work on achieving this goal. Instead of having that attitude of “let’s just get this over with”, you’re more likely to feel “let’s put this work in so I can hit my goal”

If you need a rest day or two, TAKE IT. If you’re body is telling you it needs a break, TAKE A BREAK. But during those rest days, build up your motivation so that when you return to the gym, you’re coming back better, stronger, and more determined!!!

Another way I like to stay motivated is by trying new exercises each time I hit the gym. By doing this, not only are you hitting muscle groups you haven’t worked before, but you’re building up stamina and keeping yourself entertained!!

Motivation = consistency and consistency = progress 💕

Here’s a quick 30-45 minute back workout if you’re ever pressed for time at the gym!!

1️⃣ SUPERSET:
– Seated MTS underhand row machine (4×10-12)
– Bent over rows (4×10-12)

2️⃣ SUPERSET:
– Reverse grip pull downs (4×10-12)
– Squatting cable high rows (4×10-12)

3️⃣ Seated high underhand rows (4×10-12)
