Hi Debbie, I have been LFHC for 3 months now and just had lipids checked, all fine. Read “Big Fat Surprise” Nina Teicholz,vfor a thorough exploration of the whole heart healthy, diet-heart hypothesis, after many millions in funding and no connection between dietary animal sourced saturated fat and serum cholesterol. Its more likely the trans fats, margarines and “vegetable” ie seed oils raising LDL cholesterol, all present in vast quantities in processed food as it is cheap and easy to manufacture with.
